On 2 January 2020, DBNGP (WA) Transmission Pty Ltd (DBP) submitted proposed revisions to the access arrangement for the Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline (DBNGP).
The ERA published an issues paper to assist interested parties to prepare submissions on DBP’s proposed revisions.
The ERA received seven submissions in response to DBP’s proposal and the ERA’s issues paper. The matters raised in these submissions were considered by the ERA when preparing the Draft Decision.
On 14 August 2020, the ERA published its Draft Decision which was not to approve DBP’s proposal and required 53 amendments.
On 7 October 2020, DBP submitted a revised proposal on revisions to the access arrangement for the DBNGP.
The ERA received seven submissions in response to the ERA’s Draft Decision and DBP’s revised proposal.
On 20 November 2020, the ERA published a position paper on pipeline and reference services. The position paper was published to inform interested parties of the ERA’s views on pipeline and reference services and seek further comment prior to publishing its final decision. The ERA received two submissions in response to the ERA’s position paper.
On 1 April 2021, the ERA published its final decisions on the proposed revised access arrangement for the Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline. The ERA did not approve DBP’s proposed changes to the access arrangement and published a revised access arrangement and access arrangement information.
