The Pilbara Networks Access Code requires the ERA to determine the initial WACC for the Alinta Energy Port Hedland network and the Horizon Power coastal network.
The ERA has published an issues paper that sets out a preliminary approach to determining the rate of return and seeks submissions on how the risks of the Pilbara networks may affect their rate of return. Public submissions received in response to the issues paper are published below.
On 26 November 2021 the ERA published its final decision.
