ATCO Gas Australia Pty Ltd, as the owner and operator of the Mid-West and South-West Gas Distribution Systems, submitted its proposed access arrangement on 17 March 2014.
On 1 July 2015, the ERA published a final decision which did not approve the access arrangement proposal. On 10 September 2015, the ERA published an amended final decision and issued its own access arrangement to take effect from 1 October 2015. A minor correction to the access arrangement was published on 29 September 2015.
On 1 October 2015, ATCO applied to the Australian Competition Tribunal for a review of the access arrangement decision. The Tribunal published its determination on 13 July 2016. On 25 October 2016, the ERA published an amended decision to take account of the orders of the Tribunal.
