The ERA is the regulator and administrator of non-scheme gas pipelines in Western Australia. The ERA’s role under Part 23 of the National Gas Rules (as applied in WA) is to monitor and enforce compliance with the non-scheme information disclosure and arbitration framework.
In 22 August 2023, the ERA published a Compliance Report regarding the outcome of its compliance monitoring in 2022.
The ERA will seek to further increase transparency on compliance performance by non-scheme gas pipelines in the future.
