In 2014 a review of TPI’s segregation arrangements was undertaken to clarify the meaning of some terms used in the arrangements and to clarify the ‘staging’ provisions of the segregation arrangements. These clarifications provide greater assurance to access seekers that their confidential information will be protected and that they will be treated fairly in the access proposal process.
In 2019 TPI submitted proposed revisions to its Segregation Arrangements which clarify the distinction between “access-related” and “other” functions of the railway owner, and removes the bulk of the Appendix (the “Segregation Manual”) as it duplicates text in the main body of the document.
